Returns Policy

Solidteknics designs and manufactures premium cookware built for generations, not disposable consumption.

As an Australian manufacturer producing locally (not importing mass-produced goods), we ask customers to choose carefully and review product descriptions, dimensions, images, and care requirements before purchasing.

We genuinely want you to be delighted with your purchase.

Your Australian Consumer Law Rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

If your product has a genuine manufacturing fault, arrives damaged, or is not as described, we will absolutely work with you to make it right.

Please refer to our warranty policy for manufacturing defect coverage.

Change of Mind Returns

We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect selections, or circumstances where a product has been used contrary to its care instructions.

However, at our discretion, we may consider exchanges or returns in limited circumstances.

Approved returns must:

  1. be requested promptly

  2. be in as-new, unused condition

  3. include original packaging where possible

  4. be approved by our team prior to return


Return Freight & Restocking

Where a return is approved for reasons other than a packing error or product fault:

  1. return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

  2. a $10 restocking fee applies to approved returns/exchanges

This helps cover handling, inspection, and restocking costs.


Order Cancellations Before Dispatch

If you request cancellation before your order has shipped, we can process a refund less:

  1. non-refundable merchant/payment processing fees incurred at the time of purchase

  2. a $10 administration fee to cover processing costs

Payment processors retain these fees even when transactions are refunded, so this amount is not recoverable by us.


Warranty & Product Care

Before purchasing, we encourage all customers to review our care instructions and warranty terms.

Our Multi-Century Warranty covers genuine manufacturing and material defects only.

It does not cover issues arising from:

  1. improper use

  2. overheating or thermal shock

  3. seasoning difficulties

  4. rust caused by poor maintenance

  5. lack of care

  6. misuse or abuse
