Lovers Launch Production Updates

LL47 The Söliditi™ 11cm USG Stainless Steel Knife | ETA TBA (Update posted: Wednesday 6th of May 2026)

We've just received and approved the first casting samples from our US casting factory, and we're excited to say they're looking fantastic.

These samples are still raw stainless steel castings at this stage, meaning they haven't yet gone through the final finishing processes. There are no sharpened edges yet, as each piece still needs significant post-processing work before becoming a finished kitchen knife.

Now that the castings are approved, full production will commence ASAP. Here's what happens next:

  • The castings are produced at our US casting factory
  • They are then shipped to Australia
  • The 12cm Choppa is formed from the 15cm casting
  • Once here, each knife is forged into its final western edge geometry
  • Every knife is then heat treated for hardness and durability
  • Finally, each blade is sharpened, finished, inspected, packed and prepared for shipping

LL40 The Modulä Knife System & Sharpener & LL42: The Complete Modulä Sharpening System | ETA/TBA (Update posted: Monday, 27th of April, 2026)

Good afternoon,

Our apologies for the late update, we've been waiting on a substantial tooling update from our production partner, one with some substance. Per our last update — we were hopeful for the first off-tool samples by now, though this hasn't come to fruition. Our Sydney production partner is on the case with their toolmaker and is constantly insisting urgency. Our partner does assure us that the toolmaker has been working on things preparing for machining.

The two fixed half cavity inserts have been mounted onto a plate for machining. As soon as we have off-tool samples, you will be the first to know — currently it is set to early May. We do ask to please trust the process. We are doing the best we can with updates, which is all reliant on receiving them from our production partners.
