My Experience Cooking with the Solidteknics 26cm S

By: on 4 March 2025
I’ve been using the Solidteknics 26cm skillet in my kitchen for a few months now, and I can honestly say it’s become one of my favorite tools. I’ve cooked all sorts of meals with it breakfasts, lunches, dinners and it’s handled everything I’ve thrown its way. Here’s what it’s been like to actually cook with this pan, based on my own hands-on adventures. Mornings Made Easy I’m a big breakfast person, and this skillet has been a game-changer. I’ve fried eggs in it almost daily just a quick preheat with a little oil, and they glide around like magic. No sticking, no torn yolks, just perfectly sunny-side-ups with crispy edges. I’ve also cooked bacon in it, and it crisps up evenly without burning in spots like some of my old pans did. On weekends, I’ll dice up some potatoes for a hash, and they come out golden and crunchy, thanks to how evenly the skillet distributes heat. Lunchtime Sautés For lunch, I often keep it simple with a veggie saute. I’ve tossed in zucchini, peppers, mushrooms you name it and the skillet heats up fast and cooks everything consistently. No more half-raw onions while the peppers char! I’ve also made quick chicken stir-fries for two, and the 26cm size is spot-on big enough to hold everything but not so huge it’s unwieldy. Afterward, cleanup is a snap; a rinse and a wipe, and it’s good to go. Dinner Wins Dinner is where this skillet really shows off. I’ve seared steaks in it, and wow it gets hot enough to give that gorgeous crust while keeping the meat juicy inside. I’ve also done one-pan meals, like chicken thighs with veggies. I’ll brown the chicken on the stove, then slide the whole thing into the oven to finish. The fact that it’s oven-safe makes life so much easier no extra dishes to wash. Everything comes out tasty and evenly cooked, every time. What It’s Like to Use The Handle: I love the long handle it stays cool even when the pan’s sizzling, so I can flip or stir without fumbling for a mitt. It feels good in my hand, too, even during longer cooking sessions. The Weight: It’s got a solid, sturdy feel definitely built to last but it’s not so heavy that it tires me out. I can lift it one handed, even when it’s loaded with food Cleaning: No rivets or seams means no food traps. Most days, a quick scrub with a sponge does it. If I’m lazy, I’ll pop it in the dishwasher, and it still looks pristine. Healthier Cooking, Happier Me I’ve noticed I don’t need much oil with this pan. A tiny bit is enough to keep things from sticking, which is great for lighter meals. The consistent heat also lets me cook at lower settings, which feels better for things like veggies or fish I’m not blasting away all the good stuff. Knowing it’s free of weird coatings or chemicals just adds to the appeal. Final Thoughts Cooking with the Solidteknics 26cm skillet has honestly made my time in the kitchen more fun. It’s dependable whether I’m frying eggs, searing meat, or sauteing veggies, it just works. After months of near daily use, it still looks and performs like new, which tells me it’s tough as nails. It’s become a staple for me, and I’d tell anyone to give it a shot just preheat it first, and you’ll see why I’m hooked!

Great mid-sized pan

By: on 9 February 2025
I used to have a cheap small and large set of pans, but this one fits right in between and feels like it fits a lot of uses where the small was too small and the large was bigger than needed. And with no coatings on it, this should be a lot better for long term use and care.

Stainless Steel Frypan

Great fry pan, perfect on induction. Took some getting used to after years of non-stick, but worth the effort Clean up easy, even after early stuff-ups! Gets better every time

Ceramic cooktop

By: on 24 July 2023
I bought 2 frypans, I’ve had them for a couple of years now. I love cooking with them and couldn’t go back to any others, the heat conduction is perfect. My only complaint is that the pans have discolored my ceramic cooktop and I was wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

So glad I finally invested

By: on 17 May 2023
I put off purchasing for a long due time to the cost, now I am wishing I bought them earlier! I Love this frypan. Things cook (and don't stick) so much easier than I thought. Plus cleaning is so easy. I am so happy I never have to buy another frypan in my life.

A true cracker for all occasions

By: on 9 May 2023
I love this Noni Frypan - it's the perfect size for scrambled eggs for two or the family curry... So easy to clean - a quick rinse and wipe straight after cooking and you're done! It even makes ME look like a goddamn super chef when flipping a pancake with ease (and great gusto!!!)

Great for 2 people

By: on 9 May 2023
I think it's a good sized pan for two adults. Not overly heavy and conducts heat really well. Haven't had any problems with sticking food. Would buy again.

Lovely

By: on 9 May 2023
I love to support Australian companies and admit to having purchased quite a few Solidteknics pans. This is one I use a lot - I have the larger 31cm pan but it is quite heavy - this one is perfect for everything and I often use it together with a satin pan of the same size - this one definitely needs to have lower heat, but great for tomato based meals.

Green safe cooking

By: on 9 May 2023
After throwing away all our "green" non stick cookware and switching to the real thing there is no looking back! For all those with health issues, or concerned about what un invited materials we consume, there is no going past noni and aus ion products. Great heat distribution and retention, easy to clean, one piece construction and it is truly green and healthy, no guilt required!
