Open fire cooking

Love my frypan, with its long handle and thick base it cooked beautifully. We just got back from a week through the sunset national park and it got hammered, doing all meal for 6 days of cooking and others kept wanting to use it too. Great product guys. 10 out of 10.

My most used pan

By: on 13 May 2023
One of my first purchases and it is so loved that it never makes it into the cupboard. Great size for a family of 3 or 4 and does everything I have ever asked if it including cooking over coals.

Half the weight and all the utility!

By: on 12 May 2023
Having been all in on cast iron, getting my first Solid Teknics Fry Pan was fantastic. I always liked my cast iron frypans, but the weight was a pain and the handles too short. The Aus-Ion frypans solve all that. I now have a pan that much lighter to dig out of the stack and handles that don't tend to heat up as much (gas is probably worse than electric for that). My pan was the 2.5mm 'budget' version, so I can only image that the heat is even more even in the 3mm version. Now to get a big Noni pack to go!

Never look back

By: on 11 May 2023
We bought this pan a day after moving to Australia 2 years ago, as I was so sick of our ‘eco’ pans which kept breaking down. I was initially nervous about the seasoning, but we just followed all the instructions on the website and everything went perfectly. We do a full oven seasoning every few months, and a stove top seasoning once a month or so. The pan works so well for frying anything (we use vegan meat). We also bought one of the large stainless steel pans for simmering acidic dishes like curries and pasta sauces. You can’t go wrong with these pans (literally just keep seasoning, and if you overdo the oil just scrape it off and start again). Best kitchen investment we’ve ever made!

Essential part of the kitchen.

By: on 10 May 2023
I followed Solidteknics for years before purchasing this as my first pan. I was a bit intimidated by the pan's weight, but I quickly got used to maneuvering it. The pan heats up quickly and evenly, and I've been able to cook everything from eggs to steak to perfection. I swear it all tastes better cooked on wrought iron! Overall, I am extremely happy with this Frypan. Its pre-seasoned surface, even heat distribution, and durable construction have made it an essential part of my kitchen. I use it daily as it is the perfect size for family meals and I have never specifically reseasoned it.

Great size!

The 30cm frypan fits a good quantity of meat when cooking for a family. The size allows for other pots and pans on a 60cm cooktop too.

AUS-ION 30cm Frypan

By: on 10 May 2023
This pan is the most used of all the SolidTeknics pans that I have in my collection. After the initial seasoning, and with continued use, it just gets better and better. Can highly recommend.

Awesome rarely cheap.

Had my 30cm Aus-ion for well over a year now and it's used every day. For those more used to cooking with Teflon pans it can be a learning curve to using these pans but we'll work the effort. They will take anything you can throw at them infact they are better for it. I even take mine camping...
