Perfect everyday pan

I love my wrought iron pan, have wanted one ever since I stayed in a Airbnb that had them. Started the carnivore diet and thought it was time. Use it 2-3 times a day, it stays on my oven permanently, hardly ever clean it, has seasoned so well. Do use it on a medium to high heat. Definitely get one.

Simply the best

This is my first time using this kind of cookware. I moved from non stick to stainless steel to this. I cannot believe how good this cooks, seriously good - the more I use it the more comfortable I am - this is an investment piece. I know I will have it forever - super impressed - it is everything you say it is and the cleaning is made super simple by following your videos/ So glad I took the leap. Lastly very happy I will not be putting anymore used cookware into landfill - so many reasons to buy this.

Great investment

By: on 22 February 2024
I tossed up whether to buy this pan for months. Best decision i have made - i love it. I make sure i preheat well and clean as instructed. I use a little oil but was finding i had to do the same with a non stick pan eventually anyway. Eggs glide off. Even heat too.

Love it

Fantastic pan and it’s made in Australia with Australian steel. I needed a new pan and wanted something with no chemical/plastic coating that will last a long time for health and sustainability reasons but also wanted to invest in high quality - I cook a lot and live with a chef (who loves using it as well). If I had the money I would replace all my current cookware with the solid teknics equivalent - I’ll definitely be shopping here again.

Perfect size for your bacon & eggs or whatever you choose to fry. Truly non-stick & cooks to perfection. Never buy another fry pan again once you get on this one.

AUS-ION™ 26cm Frypan

By: on 28 June 2023
Great frypan. Size is good for two people, it heats evenly (no hotspots) and it's MUCH lighter than the non-AUSION cast-iron pieces we've collected over the years, which will be heading off to the op-shop. It has a good non-stick surface from the get-go and will improve further with use.

Tough and presentable

By: on 14 May 2023
We have had aus-ion 26 cm pan for 5 years. Recommended by a friend who said “get away from that toxic frying pan stuff”. We absolutely enjoy this pan on the cooktop, campfire actually anywhere that provides heat to cook. This pan is so usable burn on wipe off. Tough enough to use the ripper on the excavator to turn the sausages for a working lunch in the paddock. I believed even if I slipped up whilst turning the snags the pan would handle the potentially 2 tonne of pressure.

Perfect pan

By: on 13 May 2023
I love the whole range of SolidTeknics pans. From the very first Aus Fonte pan I purchased, through to the satin and the quenched, I have enjoyed the features and benefits of this amazing range of cookwear. I was first drawn to the SolidTecknics range as I wanted long lasting, non-toxic cook wear. I've never had a problem seasoning the pans, they are perfectly non-stick, easy to clean and cook evenly. I've purchased pans for my children and expect to be handing my own range down to them to use for many generations to come. Wouldn't purchase anything else.

The great all arounder

By: on 13 May 2023
The great all-a rounder, this pan has been all around our great country. A country hat is almost as great as the pan itself. It’s been through campfire, bunsen flame, induction stove and pouring rain. It’s filled our bellies with roadside dinner, it survived our travels through thick and thinner. It’s touched hearts across this nation this pan deserves a standing ovation.

Don't wonder if you should buy it, just buy it.

By: on 13 May 2023
This was the first pan I bought and it has lived on the stove top since day one. I never worried about seasoning the pan as some do, I just used it. It's now gone a lovely black colour with a thick non stick coating. As described, it's a workhorse, and it's used for everything, with only a rinse and wipe dry between uses. Its only drawback is it's a little shallow for bigger meal portions. The answer is to buy a bigger pan or a deeper pot like one of the woks. - and Ive done both. The only thing you'll regret about buying this pan is it will lead you down a path of elitist snobbery about cookware and possibly bankruptcy as you keep adding more and more Solid products !
