Three sauteuses, endless dinners. The nöni 22cm, 26cm and 31cm in non-nickel stainless, Australian-made and dishwasher safe.
Australia
The Stainless Steel Sauteuse Trio brings together the core nöni™ sauteuse sizes — 22cm, 26cm and 31cm — in one Australian-made set of seamless, non-nickel stainless steel pans. Each is wrought in Sydney from a single sheet of highly conductive non-nickel stainless steel, with no aluminium core and no synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no PFAS. The tall, gently tapered Windsor walls of a sauteuse bridge the gap between a frypan and a saucepan, giving depth for liquids and braises while still allowing food to move for a proper sauté. Three sizes cover everything from a quick pan sauce to family-sized paella.
Each sauteuse is wrought from a single 3mm-thick sheet of highly conductive non-nickel stainless steel. Because the pan is formed in one piece, there are no rivets, screws, welds or joins between the cooking surface and the handle, and no aluminium core — nothing between you and the food but clean, dense, non-reactive stainless steel. This seamless construction removes the common failure points of traditional stainless cookware and leaves a smooth interior with no crevices for food to lodge in. A precision-engineered concave base flattens for stable, even contact as the steel heats and expands, and each pan is stamped with its month and year of manufacture.
Each long handle is vented along its length to dissipate heat, staying cool enough to grip during stovetop cooking, and the 31cm adds a helper handle for safe two-handed lifting at family-size loads. Because every handle is forged from the same single sheet of stainless steel as the pan body, all three are fully oven, grill and flame safe — no plastic or silicone to melt, no rivets to loosen.
Every pan in the trio is fully induction-compatible and performs across all modern heat sources:
The high conductivity of the wrought stainless construction means the pans heat quickly and retain heat efficiently; most cooks find medium heat replaces what they previously called high.
Unlike seasoned iron, the non-reactive stainless surface is fully compatible with acidic and liquid-based foods — it will not rust, will not strip seasoning, and will not impart metallic flavours to wine, citrus or tomato. The trio earns its keep across the full cooking spectrum:
Every pan in the trio is dishwasher safe and requires no seasoning. The seamless one-piece design means there are no joins to trap food residue or detergent, and each pan can be scrubbed, soaked and returned to high heat without damage. Handwashing is recommended to preserve the brushed stainless finish over time. Each pan is supplied with a calico storage bag.
Most stainless sauteuses are thin-gauge austenitic stainless with an aluminium core, riveted handles and added nickel. The nöni™ Sauteuse Trio replaces that approach with single sheets of 3mm highly conductive non-nickel stainless steel, manufactured in Sydney and backed by a multi-century warranty — built to be handed down, not thrown out. With no coating to scratch or peel, the surface can always be renewed, making the trio a non-toxic, sustainable core for an Australian-made kitchen and a natural partner to the AUS-ION™ seasoned iron range.
