The 28cm Lightning Stainless Steel Oven-to-Table Pan from the nöni™ range by Solidteknics is a family-sized, dual-handle, multi-function stainless steel pan manufactured in Sydney, Australia. It's a frypan, a baker, a pie pan, a cake tin and a serving dish in one seamless piece — sized for 3–5 people and large single-pan dinners. The Lightning range uses the same shape and material as the Signature nöni™ Oven-to-Table collection, with a slimmer 2mm gauge (compared to the 3mm Signature thickness) for faster heat-up and lower weight. It is a coating-free, PFAS-free, non-nickel stainless steel pan built to deliver multi-generational service.

Important: Induction Compatibility at 28cm

Due to the 28cm size and the high conductivity of the wrought stainless construction, the 28cm Lightning Oven-to-Table Pan is suitable for induction only on the lowest heat setting. Higher induction settings can cause excess heat concentration in the pan base. For most stovetop cooking at this size, gas, electric, oven, BBQ and outdoor flames are the recommended heat sources.

Material and Construction

The 28cm nöni™ Lightning Oven-to-Table Pan is wrought from a single 2mm-thick sheet of non-nickel stainless steel. The alloy is non-nickel and contains no synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no PFAS — and no aluminium core. Because the pan is wrought in one piece, there are no rivets, screws, welds or joins between the cooking surface and the dual handles. This seamless one-piece construction removes the common failure points of traditional oven-to-table pans and leaves a smooth interior with no crevices for food residue or pan juices to trap.
