Made to last generations, not seasons. Seamless non-nickel stainless, Australian-made, dishwasher safe, and unbothered by tomatoes, wine and citrus.

The 26cm Stainless Steel Frypan from the nöni™ range by Solidteknics is a seamless, wrought non-nickel stainless steel frying pan manufactured in Sydney, Australia. As the most versatile single-pan size in the nöni™ collection, this 26cm frypan is built for daily stovetop, oven, BBQ and open-flame cooking — from morning eggs and weekday stir-fries through to seared steaks, oven-finished braises, tomato-based sauces and pizza-oven work. It is a coating-free, PFAS-free, non-nickel stainless steel skillet engineered to deliver multi-generational service across every modern heat source.
The 26cm nöni™ Stainless Steel Frypan is wrought from a single 3mm-thick sheet of highly conductive non-nickel stainless steel. The alloy is non-nickel and contains no synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no PFAS — eliminating the leaching, chipping and reformulation concerns associated with conventional non-stick and nickel-bearing stainless cookware. Because the pan is wrought in one piece, there are no rivets, screws, welds or joins between the cooking surface and the handle. This seamless one-piece construction removes the common failure points of traditional stainless cookware and creates a smooth interior with no crevices for food residue to lodge in.
A precision-engineered concave is built into the base of every nöni™ pan. As the steel heats and expands, the base flattens for stable, even contact with the cooktop. This is standard practice for quality heavy-gauge iron and steel cookware and ensures correct thermal behaviour during use.
The 26cm nöni™ Stainless Steel Frypan is fully induction-compatible and performs across every cooktop and heat source available in modern domestic and commercial kitchens, including:
The high conductivity of the wrought stainless construction means the pan heats quickly and retains heat efficiently. Most cooks find medium heat replaces what they previously called high — translating to lower energy use over the working life of the pan.
The 26cm cooking diameter provides enough surface area to sear two steaks or cook a multi-egg breakfast without crowding, while still fitting comfortably on a standard induction zone.
The long ergonomic handle is vented along its length to dissipate heat, keeping it cool enough to grip during stovetop cooking. Because the handle is forged from the same single sheet of stainless steel as the pan body, it is fully oven, grill and flame safe — there are no plastic or silicone components to melt, no rivets to loosen, and no joins to fail under heat.
The 26cm nöni™ Stainless Steel Frypan is suitable for the broadest range of cooking applications, including:
Unlike seasoned iron skillets, the non-reactive stainless surface is fully compatible with acidic and liquid-based foods. It will not rust, will not strip seasoning, and will not impart metallic flavours to wine reductions, vinegars, citrus or tomato sauces — making it the right pan for saucy, slow-cooked and braise-style recipes.
The 26cm nöni™ Stainless Steel Frypan is dishwasher-safe and requires no seasoning. The seamless one-piece design means there are no joins to trap food residue or detergent. The pan can be scrubbed with steel wool, soaked and returned to high heat without damage. Each pan is stamped with the month and year of manufacture, and is supplied with a calico storage bag.
Conventional stainless steel frypans are typically thin-gauge austenitic stainless with an aluminium core, riveted handles and added nickel. The 26cm nöni™ Stainless Steel Frypan replaces that approach with a single sheet of 3mm wrought highly conductive non-nickel stainless steel, manufactured in Sydney, stamped with its month and year of production, and backed by a multi-century warranty. It is one of the only non-nickel, coating-free, seamless wrought stainless steel frypans manufactured in Australia, and is engineered to be passed between generations rather than replaced.
