2000 Grit Diamond Sharpener Head | Solidteknics Modüla™ Sharpening

The 2000-grit Diamond Sharpener Head is the fine-finishing stage of the Solidteknics sharpening system. Once a keen edge has been established with coarser grits, the 2000-grit head hones and polishes the blade to a fine, refined finish — the difference between sharp and razor-sharp.

The Grit

At 2000 grit, this is the finishing stage: it removes the fine burr left by lower grits and polishes the edge for clean, effortless slicing. It's the last step in a progressive sharpen, not for re-profiling dull blades.

How It Works

The head is a one-piece pass-through sharpener made from spring steel with an industrial diamond coating. Its flexible fingers are engineered to a precise 20°, so a few light pull-throughs set a clean, symmetrical 20° edge — no rods, stones or angle-guessing required.

Works With

Part of the Modüla™ pass-through diamond sharpening system (the Trilobite™ bench mount holds it steady; sold separately). Note: the Modüla™ sharpeners suit double-bevel knives, not the single-bevel Söliditi™ range. Use after the 400 and 1000 grit heads for a complete coarse-to-fine progression.
