WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT

✓ Two Pans, One Big Dutch Oven — The 10L Deepa pot and 35cm Bigga frypan share a 35cm diameter, so the Bigga doubles as the lid. Use them together for crowd-sized braises and breads, or apart as a stockpot and our biggest skillet.

✓ Naturally Non-Toxic — No synthetic coatings, no PFAS, PFOA or PTFE. Just clean, seasoned Australian iron that's safe for your family and gets better with age.

✓ 100% Australian Made — Crafted in Sydney from clean Australian iron. Designed, forged and finished here, not imported.

✓ Seamless One-Piece Construction — Both pieces are forged from a single sheet with no rivets, screws or welded joints. Nothing to loosen, trap food or break.

✓ Cooks Like Cast Iron, But Lighter — Exceptional heat retention and a naturally low-stick surface (pre-seasoned with rice bran oil), yet easier to lift than a cast iron Dutch oven.

✓ Kitchen to Campfire — Use it on induction, gas, electric, ovens, BBQs or campfires. A Dutch oven at home, a camp oven in the bush.

✓ Multi-Century Warranty — Built to be passed down, not thrown out. Backed by our multi-century warranty.

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

Everything you need to know about 10L Iron Dutch Oven Set

Do they work on induction?

Yes! Every Solidteknics pan is induction-compatible, and works just as well on gas, electric, ceramic, oven, BBQ and campfire. One pan, every heat source.

Is there a coating? Are they non-toxic?

No coating at all. No PFAS, no PTFE, nothing synthetic to scratch or chip into your food. Just clean Aussie iron seasoned with non-gmo rice bran oil. Nothing to wear out, nothing to worry about. Just a low-stick surface that gets better every time you cook!

Are they non-stick?

Yes - they arrive with a baked-on layer of seasoning, so they're ready to cook from the first use. Like any iron pan, the best results come down to the right heat and a little oil or fat, and the surface only gets more non-stick the more you cook.

How are they different to cast iron?

Cast iron is poured into a mould and can contain a mixture of metals. AUS-ION is forged from a single clean sheet of Aussie iron. Stronger, lighter and more conductive.

AUS-ION or nöni — what's the difference?

AUS-ION is seasoned iron: ideal for frying, searing and roasting. Saucy and acidic foods can strip the seasoning, particularly if your seasoning is young, though it's always fixable!

nöni is non-nickel stainless: dishwasher safe, no seasoning, and better for tomato, wine and other wet or acidic dishes. Both Aussie made and induction-ready.

Do the handles get hot?

The vents in the handle are cleverly designed to dissipate the heat, meaning the handles stay cool to the touch during normal stovetop cooking.
