Choosing your Cookware
There are no hard rules — both AUS-ION™ iron and nöni™ stainless can cook anything, and you'll find your own favourites over time. As a guide: choose iron for everyday frying, searing and baking, and nöni™ for liquids, acidic and slow-cooked dishes. Use our category filters or shop the full range to find the right size for you.
A perfect match isn't essential, but a similar size gives the most consistent, energy-efficient results — choose a burner closest to your pan's base, or the next size down. Smaller burner: start low, preheat longer, raise heat gently. Larger burner: keep the heat low and warm the pan gradually. Note for induction: the actual heated zone is usually smaller than the printed ring, so very large pans may not suit the biggest "hob".
Some of our pans have a matching skillet-lid available in sets. Our lids are unique: each one is also a high-performance shallow skillet, crepe pan, baking tray or griddle in its own right. For those which don't have a matching lid, our pans are designed to be standard sizing so you may find a matching lid already in your kitchen, or readily available online.
