The two care routines are simple and different. The AUS-ION™ iron frypans arrive naturally seasoned with non-GMO rice bran oil and ready to cook: after each use, rinse with warm water, dry thoroughly and apply a light coat of oil, with no soap needed. A patchy appearance is normal and the seasoning improves with every cook rather than wearing out. The nöni™ stainless saucepan and frypan-lid need no seasoning and are dishwasher safe, though handwashing preserves the brushed finish; the seamless interior has no joins or crevices to trap residue, and the surface can be scrubbed, soaked and returned to high heat without damage.
