A carefully engineered concave is built into the base to allow for movement when the metal expands with heat, and the long handle features vented cut-outs designed to stay cool during stovetop cooking. Each pan is stamped with its month and year of manufacture and arrives in a reusable, plastic-free calico storage bag.
