A 35cm nöni wok that responds quick for high-heat stir-fries, Australian-made and dishwasher safe.
Australia
The 35cm Stainless Steel Wok from the nöni™ range by Solidteknics is a family-sized, dual-handle stainless steel wok manufactured in Sydney, Australia. With a 6-litre capacity, flat bottom, and 3mm Lightning gauge, it’s built for full-family stir-fries, sautéing, searing and high-heat Asian-inspired cooking — and it’s one of the only flat-bottom stainless woks that runs cleanly on induction. It is a coating-free, PFAS-free, non-nickel stainless steel wok built to deliver multi-generational service.
Traditional carbon steel and round-bottom woks don’t work on flat induction cooktops — the round base doesn’t make contact. The 35cm Lightning Wok solves that with a flat 16cm stove contact zone that mates with induction, while keeping the deep, generous bowl shape that makes wok cooking work. Stainless steel also removes the seasoning maintenance and rust risk that comes with carbon steel woks, while remaining fully compatible with acidic and saucy stir-fry components.
The 35cm Lightning Wok is wrought from a single 2mm-thick sheet of non-nickel stainless steel. The alloy is non-nickel and contains no synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no PFAS — and no aluminium core. Because the wok is wrought in one piece, there are no rivets, screws, welds or joins between the cooking surface and the dual handles.
Dual handles balance the load — important at this capacity and necessary for the tossing motion of wok cooking.
The 35cm Wok is sized for family-scale wok work and beyond:
The non-reactive stainless surface is fully compatible with acidic and liquid-based foods. It will not rust, will not strip seasoning, and will not impart metallic flavours.
The 35cm Wok is dishwasher safe and requires no seasoning — unlike carbon steel woks, which require constant maintenance. The seamless one-piece design means there are no joins to trap food residue. Each pan is stamped with the month and year of manufacture.
Most stainless woks are riveted, thin and nickel-bearing; most authentic woks are carbon steel that requires seasoning and rusts on contact with water. The 35cm nöni™ Wok replaces both with a single sheet of 3mm wrought non-nickel stainless steel, manufactured in Sydney, with a flat induction-compatible base, stamped with its month and year of production, and backed by a multi-century warranty. It is one of the only seamless, non-nickel, coating-free, induction-compatible family-sized stainless woks manufactured in Australia.
