The Stainless Steel Lightning Baking Sheet from the nöni™ range by Solidteknics is a 40.5cm × 31cm heavy-duty oven tray manufactured in Sydney, Australia. Unlike thin imported coated baking trays that warp, buckle and peel under high oven heat, the Lightning Baking Sheet is wrought from a single 2mm sheet of non-nickel stainless steel — built to brown evenly, hold its shape and last generations. Designed for oven and radiant-heat use only — not for induction or direct flame.

Material and Construction

The Lightning Baking Sheet is wrought from a single 2mm-thick sheet of non-nickel stainless steel. The alloy is non-nickel and contains no synthetic coatings — no PTFE, no PFOA, no PFAS — and no aluminium core. Because the tray is wrought in one piece, there are no rivets, screws, welds or joins. This seamless one-piece construction removes the warp, scratch and peel risks of conventional coated baking trays and leaves a smooth interior with no crevices for food residue or pan juices to trap.

Each tray is stamped with the month and year of manufacture for heirloom traceability.

Heat Source Compatibility

The Lightning Baking Sheet is designed for oven and radiant-heat use only:

• Domestic and commercial ovens
• BBQs and grills (indirect heat)
• Pizza ovens
• Open campfires (radiant heat, not direct flame)

Not suitable for induction cooktops or direct stovetop flame. The Lightning Baking Sheet is engineered for evenly distributed radiant oven heat, not the localised contact heat of a cooktop burner. Using it on a cooktop may compromise the warranty.

Care and Cleaning

Dishwasher safe and requires no seasoning. The seamless one-piece design has no joins to trap food residue or detergent. Can be scrubbed with steel wool and returned to high oven heat without damage.
